Carmia Imani (she/her) is a Chicago-based actor, writer, and producer. Chicago credits: Veal (A Red Orchid Theatre); Clearing (A Short Leap); Field of Flesh (Leisure); brother sister cyborg space (u/s, Raven Theatre). Regional: Borrowed Babies (American Lives Theatre); Skeleton Crew, Death of a Salesman (The Black Rep); Much Ado About Nothing (u/s, Commonwealth Shakespeare). Carmia is a company member with PlayGround-Chicago and an ensemble member of A Short Leap Theatre Company. She holds a BFA in Acting from Ball State University, where she wrote and produced ‘AmeriKKKa’ (Best Film, Hoosier Films Festival 2021).
