Jimmie Comer III is an actor from Detroit, MI with a passion for the impossible. It is through hope, and sharing of one’s light that Jimmie believes storytelling can change the world. Jimmie makes his Short Leap Theatre Company debut as Abdul in Exception to the Rule. Theatre credits include Broke-ology (Malcolm) at Tipping Point Theatre; Oedipus the King (Tiresias/Chorus) and Redbone Coonhound (Gerald/Comrade Blackity Black) at Renaissance City Repertory Theatre; and Freedom Days (Ensemble) with Plowshares Theatre Company. Other theatre credits include Skeleton Crew, Intimate Apparel, Sweat, and The Tempest. TV credits: ‘McGraw Ave: Chopblock’ on Ucult.
