Vanessa Copeland (she/her) is a Chicago-based theatermaker and Short Leap ensemble member. She received her BA in Theater & Performance Studies and Psychology from Yale University. Most recently, she assistant directed A Short Leap Theatre Company’s Good Day. Acting credits include The Three Musketeers (Idle Muse), Confederates (U/S, Redtwist Theatre), Princess in Love’s Labour’s Lost (Midsommer Flight), and Clearing (U/S, A Short Leap). She has also previously collaborated with Meat Machine, Essential Invisible, Babes with Blades, Black Cat and Circa Pintig. When not making theater, she can be found knitting, lifting, or bribing her cats to be nice to her. Sending love to family and friends!
